Date Spot Review: Faith and Flower
Faith and Flower has very interesting and pretty decor, and scrumptious food. It’s downtown location can cause some logistical issue with traffic and parking (although at this point, where in LA is easy?), but it is worth it. Dining at Faith and Flower would be an excellent date idea.
The restaurant itself is large. It has a high ceilings, a spacious outdoor area, and grand light fixtures that give the space a sense of gravitas. The decor is fun and unique. A mix of modern, antique and very LA.
The food is good. The Burrata and Peach Pizza is delicious and could be shard as a nice appetizer. The raw bar options are enjoyable and offer a light entrance into your meal. I enjoyed the Red Snapper Crudo quite a bit. For a main course, the Red Wine Braised Short Rib is a tasty choice. It was satisfying, but not too big, and the meat was very flavorful. For dessert, the White Chocolate Bread Pudding with raspberries is a personal favorite, but all the desserts are lovely. You can’t go wrong.
Definitely give Faith and Flower a try! Let us know what you think.
